Daniel Dumesic

As a clinician-scientist who treats women with infertility from various reproductive and metabolic disorders, Dr. Dumesic is an accomplished reproductive endocrinologist who has performed trans-vaginal ovarian ultrasonography for IVF and has conducted several human clinical studies over 25 years. He also an outstanding record of successful and productive research projects regarding clinical aspects of metabolic diseases and their negative impact on female reproduction, including more than 145 publications in the field of reproductive endocrinology. He is currently the Principal Investigator of a grant from the National Institutes of Health that examines the underlying mechanisms through which androgen excess in women with PCOS alters fat metabolism.
