Dr. Melanie Landay is a fertility expert, a board certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
Dr. Landay attended medical school and completed postgraduate training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of California, Los Angeles. She then completed a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of Southern California, where she performed research on surrogate pregnancy outcomes, factors that affect embryo implantation, and estrogen metabolism in breast cancer patients undergoing fertility preservation. She maintains an academic affiliation with the University of Southern California, Keck School of Medicine and is an active member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and the Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.
Fertility specialist, Dr. Landay has received numerous honors including an award from the Pacific Coast Reproductive Society for her research on gestational surrogacy. She is a contributing author to several medical text books, has presented research at national and international meetings, and has published her work in peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Landay has also been featured on Good Morning America and Dr. Drew’s Lifechangers as an expert in egg freezing for elective fertility preservation.
Dr. Landay is originally from Pittsburgh, PA and currently lives in Los Angeles with her husband and two children.
